Software Test Automation Engineer – Internship (Unpaid)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive UI test automation for the Occibo web application.

• Create detailed test plans, test cases, and regression suites covering essential user flows.

• Convert product specifications into automated tests, incorporating edge cases.

• Collaborate with the development team on strategies for test data and stable selectors.

• Execute tests in CI, monitor failures, and contribute to maintaining the reliability of the test suite.

• Leverage AI tools to enhance the efficiency of test creation, analysis, and upkeep.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related area.

• Familiarity with at least one test automation framework, preferably Playwright or Cypress.

• Proficient in JavaScript or TypeScript and comfortable using Git.

• Knowledge of CI pipelines and principles of reliable test design.

• Interest in artificial intelligence and experience utilizing AI tools.

• Proficient in English.

• Available to commence in October 2026.

• Internship is a requirement as part of your academic program.
