Senior QA Automation Engineer – HELOC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create test automation in alignment with feature development, leveraging AI tools along with functional and performance testing frameworks.

• Employ LLMs to formulate feature test plans and maintain internal knowledge repositories to enhance the use of AI tools for automation and comprehensive testing initiatives.

• Establish tailored AI workflows that empower developers to assess new features utilizing existing automation tests, analyze test failures, and resolve environment-related challenges.

• Conduct functional and performance testing using temporary environments to deploy microservices with varying versions and configurations while customizing database content.

• Modify, configure, and apply patches to services, managing infrastructure and code modifications through production.

• Review log files and solve production issues by automating and replicating them in non-production settings.

• Work in conjunction with the QA platform team to devise feature-validation and test-automation strategies.

• Engage in application specification reviews and architectural design discussions from a quality assurance viewpoint.

• Determine testing strategies for features and functionalities.

• Set up and oversee applications in a production environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in developing test automation in Java using Selenium/Playwright.

• Skilled in utilizing Integrated Development Environments such as IntelliJ or Eclipse, both with and without coding assistants.

• Experience in deploying services across various environments, including Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with deployment tools such as ArgoCD and Jenkins.

• Ability to enhance the efficiency of existing test infrastructure through Docker, Playwright, and headless browser executions.

• Understanding of log aggregators like SumoLogic or Kibana.

• Knowledge of application monitoring tools such as Honeycomb or Grafana.

• A strong enthusiasm for automating tests and delivering high-quality features in a dynamic environment.

• Comfortable operating within an Agile framework.

• Proficiency in English is required for all positions.
