Software Systems Engineer – DLA EAGLE IT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver specialized knowledge across various systems and software domains with minimal oversight.

• Conduct comprehensive analysis and provide technical assistance for systems software products.

• Address intricate issues related to design, development, testing, operational integration, and user assistance.

• Aid in the planning and transition phases for new hardware and software products.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and configure associated software products.

• Offer strategic planning and evaluation for operating systems concerning performance analysis, capacity planning, and hardware upgrades.

• Develop or adjust operating systems applications according to specifications.

• Support design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and documentation of programs.

• Collaborate with system support teams to resolve issues, establish standards, and enhance operating system efficiency.

• Create product documentation.

• Engage with customers to collect system requirements or problem-related information.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology.

• Must possess an active Secret clearance, adjudicated within the last five (5) years.

• Willingness to occasionally attend meetings at DLA Susquehanna (New Cumberland, PA) or other performance locations in the New Cumberland, PA area.
