ML, Agentic Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide production services for shipping.

• Collaborate on backend, frontend, GraphQL, database, and containerization technologies.

• Utilize agentic coding tools while reviewing and taking ownership of generated code.

• Function within a multi-service, async-first remote setting.

• Possibly develop and enhance LLM-powered or agentic products aimed at developers.

• Potentially fine-tune, distill, or train models to meet production objectives.

• May engage with retrieval, ranking, embeddings, or search relevance tasks.

• Could convert enterprise customer requirements into product enhancements.

• May mentor engineers and enhance their proficiency in agent engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of relevant experience.

• Strong software engineering capabilities with a proven track record in shipping production services.

• Proficient in Go for backend development and TypeScript for frontend, along with GraphQL, Postgres, and Docker; or demonstrate a strong willingness to learn these technologies.

• Skilled in using agentic coding tools and capable of comprehending and taking responsibility for every line of code submitted.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, async-first, multi-service remote environment.

• Experience in shipping a product that is LLM-powered or serves developer-facing needs (preferred).

• Familiarity with fine-tuning, distilling, or training models to achieve production targets related to cost, latency, or quality (preferred).

• Background in retrieval, ranking, embeddings, or search relevance (preferred).

• Experience collaborating directly with enterprise clients and translating their needs into product solutions (preferred).

• Background in mentoring or elevating engineers, particularly in enhancing a team's proficiency in agent engineering (preferred).
