Mid-Level Systems Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Collect and document both functional and non-functional requirements for new projects, as well as for the support of medium- and high-complexity systems.

• Engage in meetings with requesters and other stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the proposed solution.

• Design and execute maintenance updates for C#, .NET, and/or COBOL components.

• Plan, execute, and oversee unit, integration, and load testing activities.

• Assist in user acceptance testing alongside end users while prioritizing test automation.

• Organize and oversee the deployment of solutions into production.

• Safeguard the security and availability of environments through risk assessments, coordinated schedules, and contingency and rollback strategies.

• Recognize and address incidents and issues, implementing both temporary and permanent solutions.

• Suggest enhancements to promote system availability and reliability.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technology field.

• Proven experience in developing applications using C# and .NET.

• Familiarity with DB2 and SQL Server databases, including skills in creating and optimizing queries.

• Ability to gather both functional and non-functional requirements effectively.

• Experience in developing COBOL/CICS/DB2 and COBOL batch applications is a plus.

• Understanding of agile methodologies is advantageous.

• Intermediate English reading skills are a plus.

• Knowledge of banking systems is a plus.

• Understanding of systems architecture is a plus.

• Experience in integrating and modernizing legacy systems and microservices is a plus.
