Software Systems Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Deliver specialized knowledge across various systems and software disciplines.

• Conduct thorough analysis and provide technical support for systems software products.

• Address complex issues and facilitate design, development, testing, operational integration, and user assistance.

• Aid in the planning and transition for new hardware and software products.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and configure associated software products.

• Offer operating systems planning and evaluation for performance analysis, capacity planning, and hardware upgrades.

• Create or adjust operating systems applications based on specifications.

• Support design, coding, benchmark testing, debugging, and program documentation efforts.

• Collaborate with system support teams to resolve issues, establish standards, and enhance operating system efficiency.

• Prepare comprehensive product documentation.

• Engage with customers to collect system requirements and problem-related information.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC).

• Basic Federal Clearance prerequisites include U.S. Citizenship, a clear criminal history check, and no recent or pending bankruptcies.

• 8+ years of experience in a relevant area (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, or Information Systems/Technology).
