Consulting Systems Engineer – Civilian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Work together with Account Teams to establish consultative relationships and deliver IT solutions and professional services.

• Concentrate on technical presales solutions covering cloud, collaboration, security, data center, networking, mobility, end user devices, managed services, and digital/IoT transformation.

• Act as a trusted advisor regarding key products, solutions, and partners.

• Create proposals and statements of work; assist in packaging, pricing, and presenting solutions.

• Take the lead in proposal solutioning as the technical solution owner.

• Validate and generate bills of materials from leading OEMs using configuration tools.

• Offer technical support to customers and Account Teams.

• Gather customer integration service needs, challenges, and product requirements to formulate business cases.

• Articulate IT strategy and vision based on Iron Bow capabilities to fulfill customer technical requirements.

• Design customized solutions that align with IT modernization, Workforce Experience, Digital Transformation, and Cybersecurity strategies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Generally requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline.

• 10 years of experience in engineering presales or related fields.

• Comprehensive understanding of cloud, collaboration, security, data center, networking, mobility, end user devices, managed services, and digital/IoT transformation.

• Capability to develop a specialization area.

• Familiarity with leading OEMs and OEM configuration and operation toolsets.

• Knowledge of relevant solution sets, product line specifications, performance criteria, and applications.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication, listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take on a technical leadership role.

• Proven technical knowledge and consultative abilities.

• Relevant experience with competitor offerings in technology sectors.

• US citizenship is mandatory.

• Government clearance is advantageous.

• OEM certifications are beneficial, particularly in Dell datacenter.

• Department of Justice experience is preferred but not essential.

• May require up to 20% travel.
