Software Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Assist projects in executing quality processes and adhering to software standards.

• Oversee projects utilizing various development lifecycles, including Agile, SCRUM, DevOps, V-Model, and incremental approaches.

• Prepare for, engage in, and guarantee the seamless execution of the entire software product lifecycle, including milestones and reviews.

• Ensure adherence to the quality requirements relevant to the projects.

• Conduct code analyses and create expert reports.

• Document best practices and share them with the quality community.

• Manage non-conformities and track corrective action plans.

• Plan and execute quality audits.

• Collaborate as part of a team with a prominent aerospace-sector client located in Toulouse.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer.

• A degree in computer science with a focus on quality-related roles, or a degree in quality management with an interest in software development.

• Experience in a software development setting.

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages, such as Java, Python, or C/C++.

• Demonstrated experience in the aerospace industry.

• Ability to pinpoint risk areas within a software development project.

• Willingness to explore new methods and tools, including software factories, code inspection tools, open-source and licensing solutions, collaborative tools, and Agile methodologies.

• Capability to work effectively within a team while independently managing assigned responsibilities.

• Strong attention to detail, empathy, and the ability to tailor communication to various stakeholders.
