QA Engineer – Core Database

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.

📋 Description

• Develop and enhance automated test frameworks while creating automated test cases.

• Experiment with new features to ensure their successful integration into production.

• Conduct testing across various internal ClickHouse teams for cross-functional implementations.

• Design and apply testing strategies and automation for large, complex distributed systems.

• Assess new ClickHouse features with each release.

• Spot opportunities for improvement within the current codebase.

• Refine and enhance the existing testing infrastructure.

⛳️ Requirements

• In-depth knowledge of SQL.

• Prior experience in a comparable SDET, Release Engineering, or QA role within a classical database or distributed system.

• Practical experience with a programming language such as Python, Go, or C++.

• Capability to read C++ code for the purpose of validation.

• Proficient in Git, Linux, and shell scripting.

• Experience in both manual and automation testing.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in debugging SQL databases.

• Strong skills in production debugging.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.

• Exceptional communication skills.

• Quick learner of complex technologies in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
