Senior QA Analyst, AI Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Ensure that AI agents function reliably both before and after their deployment.

• Oversee performance across various healthcare settings and languages.

• Collaborate with the clinical team to formulate protocols and identify clinically significant parameters for monitoring.

• Establish quality benchmarks for AI systems.

• Resolve underlying prompt logic and reasoning chains.

• Develop testing methodologies to prevent recurring issues.

• Create testing strategies for intelligent and adaptive systems.

• Construct testing frameworks applicable across healthcare scenarios.

• Define acceptable quality thresholds for AI applications in healthcare.

• Coordinate with the compliance team to ensure adherence to MDR and AI Act requirements.

• Document quality processes along with verification and validation procedures for regulatory submissions.

• Assist in ensuring algorithm accuracy while minimizing bias.

• Collaborate with compliance teams to achieve and sustain certification for relevant algorithms.

• Contribute to the establishment of industry standards for AI quality assurance.

• Cultivate expertise in AI healthcare testing methodologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in spoken and written English (not required to be perfect).

• 2-6 years of experience in quality assurance, testing, or analytical positions.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.

• Inquisitive about the evolving landscape of AI.

• Knowledge of secure health data management (GDPR, HIPAA).

• Experience with medical device regulations (MDR, 21 CFR 820, ISO 13485, IEC62304).

• Proficient in spoken and written Portuguese.

• Familiarity with AI tools or prompt engineering.

• Background in healthcare, enterprise software, or regulated industries.

• Understanding of quality metrics and monitoring systems.

• Basic programming or scripting skills.

• Must demonstrate at least Level 1 AI proficiency.
