Software Quality Assurance Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop, implement, and uphold test cases and test plans for new features, enhancements, and bug fixes throughout the product suite.

• Conduct functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing on desktop, web, and mobile applications.

• Examine reported defects, replicate issues, determine root causes where feasible, and document findings with clear, reproducible steps.

• Utilize SQL to ensure data integrity, confirm expected system behavior, and assist in defect investigations.

• Monitor testing activities, defects, and results using Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.

• Collaborate with developers, product managers, implementation teams, and support teams throughout the development lifecycle.

• Engage directly with clients to clarify reported issues and verify resolutions.

• Contribute to enhancing QA processes, documentation, and testing standards.

• Manage competing priorities and adjust to changing release schedules.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree in quality assurance, information systems, or equivalent training; high school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Two (2) years of experience in quality assurance and software testing.

• Proficient understanding of databases and SQL.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps or a comparable software testing platform.

• Strong critical thinking and analytical abilities, along with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proven capacity to provide outstanding customer service and conduct thorough investigations with professionalism.

• Demonstrated ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision, efficiently managing workload, priorities, and testing processes.

• Adaptability and flexibility, with a passion for working in a dynamic environment.

• Preferred: Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, or engineering.

• Preferred: Industry-recognized software testing certifications.

• Preferred: Experience with EMR/EHR systems.

• Preferred: 3+ years of experience as a software QA tester, including proficiency in automation testing frameworks and writing and maintaining test scripts.

• Preferred: Experience testing .NET desktop, mobile, and web applications.

• Preferred: Familiarity with API testing and tools like Postman.

• Preferred: Experience with SQL Server.

• Preferred: Experience testing web application responsiveness and browser compatibility.

• Preferred: Experience with W3C/ADA accessibility testing.

• Preferred: Knowledge of Agile methodology.
