Software Quality Analyst – Mid-Level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop testing strategies and scenarios based on requirements, architecture, and business rules.

• Actively identify risks, defects, and potential impacts on solutions.

• Design, execute, and sustain manual and automated tests, which encompass functional, regression, exploratory, integration, API, performance, and end-to-end testing.

• Create and uphold automation scripts.

• Utilize Artificial Intelligence tools, such as Cursor, to aid in the development, maintenance, and enhancement of automated tests.

• Investigate AI capabilities for test automation and self-executing tests.

• Evaluate results, document defects, and conduct validation and regression testing following fixes.

• Collaborate with Development and other teams, ensuring quality from the solution design phase.

• Recommend ongoing enhancements to quality processes, tools, and practices.

• Remain informed about new technologies, methodologies, and AI solutions related to Software Quality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in Computer Science, Systems Analysis and Development, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance (QA).

• Extensive experience in manual testing, including regression, exploratory, usability, integration, and performance testing.

• Proficiency in automated testing using Cypress (JavaScript), Robot Framework (Python), or Selenium (Python).

• Familiarity with Postman for API testing.

• Understanding of BDD (Gherkin) for formulating test scenarios.

• Acquainted with Cursor and other Artificial Intelligence tools applicable to software development and test automation.

• Enthusiasm and capability to utilize AI to minimize manual tasks and enhance the autonomy of quality processes.

• Holistic, systems-oriented, and preventive approach.

• Ability to contribute to strategic quality planning and carry out routine testing.

• Intermediate understanding of Agile methodologies.

• Proactive, analytical, and collaborative nature, with an emphasis on continuous improvement, innovation, and efficiency.
