
Corporate Development & M&A Analyst – Part Time

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Organize, label, and maintain deal files, virtual data rooms, and transaction trackers with precise filing and version control.
• Assist in the preparation, formatting, and proofreading of presentations, deal summaries, board materials, and Corporate Development deliverables.
• Monitor due diligence request lists and follow up with internal stakeholders regarding outstanding items and deadlines.
• Take notes during internal working sessions and disseminate action items and follow-ups.
• Maintain confidentiality logs, track NDAs, and keep records of executed transaction documents.
• Conduct basic research on telecommunications companies, industry trends, and market data.
• Aid in the creation of financial model templates, comparable company lists, and precedent transaction summaries.
• Compile competitor and target company profiles, industry benchmarking data, and market sizing inputs.
• Support data validation and updates in valuation and deal-tracking spreadsheets.
• Keep deal trackers and pipeline reporting logs updated.
• Perform general administrative tasks, including travel coordination and ad hoc project support.
• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree, ideally in Business Administration, Pre-Law, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Previous internship, part-time office, or coursework experience related to business, finance, financial modeling, or administrative tasks is advantageous.
• Coursework or a demonstrated interest in corporate finance, M&A, investment banking, or the telecommunications sector.
• Previous internship, work-study, or involvement in student organizations that included administrative, research, or project coordination work.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Basic understanding of financial statements and valuation principles.
• Strong discretion and professionalism when handling confidential and market-sensitive information.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational capabilities.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a small, fast-paced, cross-functional team and take initiative in following directions.
• Strong time-management skills with the flexibility to maintain a 20-hour weekly schedule alongside academic commitments.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint.
• Ability to work in a standard office environment and utilize a computer for extended periods.
• Capacity to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Commitment to a consistent weekly schedule of around 20 hours, primarily during standard business hours.
