Software QA Engineer – SDET

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Enhance test coverage by creating new end-to-end tests using Python/Behave.

• Implement additional frontend end-to-end tests utilizing Playwright.

• Oversee and maintain the stability of various automated tests.

• Monitor the effective resolution of bugs detected by automated tests.

• Refine the framework to facilitate easier test development and execution.

• Assist teams in adopting and applying QA tools and methodologies.

• Collaborate with other teams to advance the automated testing strategy.

• Foster a culture of quality through Agile Testing and TDD principles.

• Engage in collective decision-making, initiatives, and enhancements to the codebase.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science (five-year higher education qualification).

• Extensive experience in a software company focusing on development and/or QA.

• Strong passion for software quality assurance.

• Proficient in Python programming.

• Capable of designing, maintaining, and improving an automated test suite with an emphasis on readability, maintainability, and best practices.

• Comfortable suggesting and identifying architectural enhancements in an existing codebase.

• Practical experience with a CI/CD tool (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Familiarity with Behave, Pytest, and/or Playwright is advantageous.

• Knowledge of Rust is a bonus.

• Experience with API testing, E2E testing, or testing within a complex product environment.

• Experience with Linux, macOS, and Windows is beneficial.

• Fluent in French (C1 level minimum).

• Proficient in English for daily communication in an international setting.
