This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.
• Design, develop, and sustain features encompassing server-side business logic, OData/REST APIs, mobile applications, database components, and legacy integrations.
• Take ownership of feature enhancements and defect resolution, both independently and collaboratively with the squad, ensuring delivery aligns with velocity, quality, and estimation objectives.
• Acquire knowledge of the Warehouse Edge architecture and model-driven code-generation system to enhance product quality.
• Implement sound engineering practices, evaluate solutions, and bolster team standards, workflows, and documentation.
• Recognize architectural deficiencies and enhance scalability, maintainability, productivity, and development methodologies.
• Provide mentorship to less-experienced developers and engage with engineering, product, and business stakeholders throughout the Agile delivery process.
• Deliver maintainable features and take responsibility for outcomes from design to release.
• Proactively identify risks, address architectural and code-quality issues, and optimize squad processes.
• Contribute to a collaborative, inquisitive, and adaptable team culture.
• Over 5 years of professional experience in C# and .NET development.
• In-depth knowledge of .NET Framework 4.8 and experience in commercial software delivery.
• Practical experience with TypeScript/JavaScript, Microsoft SQL Server, T-SQL, stored procedures, and intricate database queries.
• Proven experience in building and supporting OData/REST APIs and familiarity with Swagger/OpenAPI.
• Knowledge of NHibernate and multi-tenant architecture.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Git, and branching and pull-request workflows.
• Capability to articulate complex technical issues and propose practical solutions.
• Skill in producing clear documentation and mentoring other developers.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficient English communication skills.
• Preferred: experience with warehouse management, logistics, supply chain software, enterprise or generated codebases, legacy scripting languages, dependency injection frameworks, repository and unit-of-work patterns, modular licensing, feature toggles, mobile or handheld RF solutions, offline-capable HTML5/PWA development, barcode or label printing, SSRS reporting, warehouse automation interfaces, CI/CD automation, Azure or AWS cloud/SaaS environments, and AI-assisted development tools.
