
Software Engineer β Technical Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Take ownership of the technical vision for the strategic C#/.NET, ASP.NET Blazor, Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, Microsoft Graph API, and Entra ID platform.
β’ Lead the architecture and design processes for new features and systems.
β’ Generate architecture decision records, system diagrams, API contracts, migration guidance, and implementation strategies.
β’ Establish and uphold coding standards, pull-request guidelines, definitions of done, automated testing protocols, accessibility measures, documentation, and engineering quality benchmarks.
β’ Stay actively involved in production work involving C#, Blazor, Azure, and targeted React/TypeScript tasks.
β’ Manage the technical health, defect resolution, dependency updates, security assessments, diagnostics, testing, and production support of transitional React applications.
β’ Evaluate inherited React applications and document their architecture, build and deployment processes, dependencies, data flows, integrations, ownership gaps, operational risks, and critical workflows.
β’ Develop phased React-to-Blazor migration strategies that maintain user outcomes, data integrity, integrations, and operational continuity.
β’ Determine what needs to be migrated, redesigned, consolidated, retired, or temporarily kept.
β’ Break down migrations into controlled increments with contracts, acceptance criteria, rollback plans, and cutover checkpoints.
β’ Collaborate with Product Owners, business stakeholders, and users to validate functional parity and enhance user experience.
β’ Plan technical delivery, encompassing discovery, dependencies, sequencing, integration risks, milestones, estimates, and execution health.
β’ Coordinate engineers through delegation, design checkpoints, code reviews, blocker resolution, and implementation guidance.
β’ Work alongside the Project Manager on scheduling, stakeholder communication, scope coordination, and delivery.
β’ Oversee Azure production readiness, deployment planning, observability, diagnostics, rollback considerations, support documentation, and technical risk resolution.
β’ Lead investigations into significant production issues and coordinate mitigation efforts, root-cause analyses, and follow-up improvements.
β’ Establish secure engineering and quality standards for authentication, authorization, secrets management, data access, dependency management, input validation, privacy, and secure coding practices.
β’ Manage the testing strategy across .NET, Blazor, and React applications.
β’ Ensure CI/CD pipelines incorporate reliable automated quality gates.
β’ Mentor engineers through design reviews, pair programming, pull-request feedback, debugging sessions, migration planning, and delegation processes.
β’ Enhance team capabilities in C#/.NET, Blazor, Azure, React diagnostics, and controlled migrations.
β’ Collaborate with Architects and other Technical Leads on reusable Blazor patterns, migration insights, standards, shared components, and reference implementations.
β’ Over 8 years of professional experience in software development, including team technical direction, production ownership, delivery coordination, and engineering mentorship.
β’ Extensive professional expertise in C#/.NET, ASP.NET Blazor, and Microsoft Azure.
β’ Proven experience in designing, delivering, and operating enterprise web applications.
β’ Strong production experience in maintaining React and TypeScript applications, covering component architecture, state management, routing, API integration, testing, build tooling, dependency management, and production troubleshooting.
β’ Demonstrated ability to modernize, migrate, consolidate, or retire applications while ensuring business continuity and user satisfaction.
β’ Proficient in evaluating React applications, documenting unknown systems, stabilizing inherited code, and designing phased transitions to C#/.NET and Blazor.
β’ Experience in designing ASP.NET Core APIs and integration patterns utilizing SQL Server, identity solutions, Microsoft Graph API, or similar enterprise technologies.
β’ Skilled in decomposing complex technical initiatives, validating estimates, managing dependencies, and communicating migration and continuity risks.
β’ Familiarity with Azure observability, incident response, release engineering, secure development, automated testing, CI/CD, and operational support.
β’ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven track record of coaching engineers through accountable technical leadership.
β’ Practical experience with Autodesk Revit, including Revit add-ins, model workflows, families, parameters, worksharing, or familiarity with the Revit API.
β’ Background in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, MEP design, BIM, architecture, construction, data-center engineering, or a related AEC discipline.
β’ Experience developing software for engineers, designers, BIM teams, or other specialized technical professionals.
β’ Experience in converting React interfaces to Blazor or leading migrations between front-end frameworks.
β’ Familiarity with Entra ID, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365 services, Power Platform, infrastructure as code, or cloud-native operational tools.
β’ Interest in or experience with AI/ML technologies and their application to enterprise software.
β’ A bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering, computer science, or information systems field, or equivalent experience is preferred.
β’ Willingness to travel up to 5%, potentially to any or all 50 US states.
β’ Must have authorization to work in the United States, as verified through participation in E-Verify.
