Software Engineer, Python / DevOps

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Morocco.

📋 Description

• Create solutions that are deployed on container infrastructure or within cloud environments.

• Implement monitoring for production environments.

• Engage in code reviews for fellow team members.

• Share expertise and ensure high standards in development quality.

• Suggest technical solutions to enhance project outcomes.

• Participate in technology scouting and monitoring of industry best practices.

• Design, develop, and implement operational solutions to enhance the company’s processes, products, and services.

• Work on projects that involve information extraction from images and documents, integration of open data, web scraping, graph databases, specialized search engines, and APIs for data monetization.

⛳️ Requirements

• An engineering degree or equivalent qualification.

• A minimum of two years’ experience in a comparable role.

• Proven experience in developing Python applications that meet high quality standards.

• Strong practices in code review and continuous integration.

• Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (such as MongoDB, Neo4j, Elasticsearch, Redis, etc.).

• Experience in setting up monitoring dashboards (e.g., Kibana, Grafana).

• Self-motivated, curious, and team-oriented, with a commitment to sharing knowledge.

• Proficient communication skills in English.

• Preferred: experience with implementing CI/CD pipelines and deploying applications using Docker/Kubernetes.

• Preferred: background in designing highly available application architectures.

• Preferred: experience with data science libraries (e.g., Pandas).

• Preferred: knowledge of Linux administration.

• Preferred: experience in deploying applications in the cloud and using infrastructure as code.

• Preferred: front-end programming skills (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.).
