Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Develop software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve issues effectively.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and establishing delivery timelines.

• Work collaboratively with team members and maintain communication with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Participate in triage efforts, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Design and sustain tailored software solutions for a significant public-sector client in Europe.

• Play a role in a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with various external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and container technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Proficient in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Strong understanding of testing methodologies.

• Capable of confidently communicating in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with stakeholders and remote teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.
