Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software components following design specifications

• Conduct system integration and testing

• Diagnose and resolve issues

• Execute unit testing for software components

• Engage in project effort estimation and delivery timelines

• Collaborate with colleagues and liaise with project stakeholders

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps

• Take part in incident triage, analysis, and prioritization

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes

• Create and maintain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology client

• Work on a tax administration system that includes tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integration with external systems

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development

• Strong proficiency with Spring Framework and Quarkus

• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL or other RDBMS)

• Knowledge of REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems (Kafka, ActiveMQ)

• Solid understanding of testing principles

• Ability to communicate effectively in English

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and remote teams

• Experience in Angular front-end development (desirable)

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German (desirable)
