Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop software components based on design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing.

• Diagnose and resolve issues as they arise.

• Execute unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules.

• Collaborate with colleagues and communicate with project stakeholders effectively.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Take part in incident analysis and prioritization efforts.

• Assist and optimize CI/CD processes.

• Design and maintain tailored software solutions for a significant European public-sector technology services client.

• Contribute to a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, calculations, assessments, and integrations with external systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Extensive experience with the Spring Framework and Quarkus.

• Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Familiarity with relational databases, such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Proficient in REST/SOAP integrations and messaging systems, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Solid understanding of testing principles.

• Ability to communicate fluently in English.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is a plus.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.
