Senior Java Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold tailored software solutions for a prominent European public-sector software provider.

• Execute software components in accordance with design specifications.

• Conduct system integration and testing activities.

• Identify and resolve technical issues.

• Carry out unit testing for software components.

• Engage in estimating project efforts and delivery schedules.

• Work collaboratively with team members and communicate effectively with project stakeholders.

• Offer technical insights for product roadmaps.

• Participate in triage processes, including incident analysis and prioritization.

• Enhance and support CI/CD processes.

• Contribute to the development of a tax administration system that encompasses tax declaration processing, tax calculations, assessments, and integrations with various external systems.

• Collaborate within a project team comprising over 20 members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in Java development.

• Solid experience with the Spring Framework.

• Extensive experience with Quarkus.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of containers, including Docker and Kubernetes.

• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or other RDBMS.

• Proficiency in REST/SOAP integrations.

• Experience with messaging technologies, including Kafka and ActiveMQ.

• Strong grasp of testing principles.

• Capacity to communicate confidently in English.

• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with stakeholders and distributed teams.

• Experience in Angular front-end development is a plus.

• Proficiency in German or Swiss German is advantageous.
