Software Engineer, Python

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Evaluate new technologies, suggest architectures, perform proofs of concept (POCs), and engage in technical discussions with internal teams and vendors.

• Collaborate within multidisciplinary agile teams, contributing to the comprehensive development lifecycle of solutions.

• Design and manage ETL pipelines and batch processing workflows utilizing Python.

• Partner with Engineering and Data Science teams to construct and enhance data workflows.

• Develop, test, and improve applications and data integrations.

• Create, review, and optimize intricate SQL queries.

• Engage in the automation of integration tests to ensure the quality of deliverables.

• Oversee and manage code versioning using Git.

• Work with relational databases (Oracle) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).

• Investigate and apply new technologies that advance the data platform's evolution.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in back-end development with Python.

• Familiarity with Databricks and Apache Spark.

• Understanding of developing and consuming RESTful APIs using JSON.

• Experience utilizing AWS services for cloud-based solutions.

• Proficient in Git for version control management.

• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab.

• Knowledge of MongoDB.

• Advanced skills in SQL.

• Experience with relational databases, particularly Oracle.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies and teamwork in multidisciplinary environments.

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles using Terraform.

• Experience with or knowledge of Denodo.

• Familiarity with Power BI.

• Experience in data architecture and analytics platforms.

• Background in projects associated with risk, finance, or regulated environments.

• Experience with React.
