Senior Backend Integration Developer, Java

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain backend services for the Aggregation Platform, facilitating seamless connections between game providers and operators.

• Create and improve API-first solutions that are scalable, high-performing, and critical to business operations.

• Write secure, maintainable, and high-quality code while adhering to engineering best practices.

• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to devise integration solutions and enhance platform architecture.

• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and overall DevOps methodologies.

• Engage in architectural discussions and consistently enhance platform reliability, scalability, and performance.

• Support Agile development methodologies and participate in technical decision-making within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in backend software development with a strong emphasis on API-first solutions.

• More than 5 years of experience in building and maintaining high-availability, business-critical applications.

• Extensive experience with API integrations between various services.

• Strong proficiency in Java and experience in developing clean, secure, and high-performance code.

• Practical experience with PostgreSQL and cloud platforms, ideally Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Familiarity with DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration (CI), automated deployments, and test automation.

• Experience in Agile development environments.

• Excellent communication skills with English proficiency at a B2 level or higher.

• Familiarity with Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP).

• Experience in designing scalable software architectures.

• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity and software quality.
