This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama, +25 more states.
• Develop and implement security tools and automation within the Product Security division.
• Construct and maintain robust, scalable systems that support the security objectives.
• Create and deploy software and automation tools focused on software supply chain security, AI-driven vulnerability identification, and global multi-cloud oversight.
• Build a suite of applications, APIs, and frameworks for engineers across the Product Security team.
• Collaborate with Product Security teams to refine tooling strategy through risk assessments and in-depth architectural evaluations.
• Take ownership of SRE excellence, CI/CD practices, and datastore operations for essential security services.
• Establish performance monitoring and response protocols for critical security incidents.
• Proven experience in a Software Engineering capacity, encompassing event-driven systems, data ingestion workflows, internal automation solutions, and monitoring tools.
• Proficient in programming languages such as Golang, Python, React, Angular, and/or Typescript.
• Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, software cryptographic signing, and open-source software dependencies.
• Familiarity with data engineering and datastore/queue management, including tools like OpenSearch, Valkey, Postgres, Kafka, and SQS.
• Experience overseeing the complete software development lifecycle (SDLC), including design, implementation, and delivery.
• Knowledge of Generative AI as a productivity enhancer and for developing services that utilize large language models (LLMs).
• Demonstrated ability to apply AI technologies to improve decision-making, streamline workflows, enhance efficiency, and achieve business objectives.
• Experience with configuration management and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Chef, Salt, or Puppet.
• Background in a Product Security position.
• Broad understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, including adversaries, areas of interest, and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Experience in monitoring and analyzing telemetry data from applications and infrastructure.
• Background in Security Operations and/or Incident Response.
• Experience in managing cloud-scale, mission-critical Linux environments.
• Familiarity with cloud operations, ideally within AWS or GCP.
• Self-assured and independent, with the discernment to seek assistance when necessary.
