Software Engineer – NextJS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Validate project requirements by examining program objectives, input data, and output expectations in collaboration with PMs, supervisors, and clients.

• Provide estimates derived from requirements, wireframes, and design specifications.

• Actively communicate potential risks, known issues, and updates to the changelog.

• Participate in all stages of the development lifecycle.

• Collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Write code that adheres to industry best practices.

• Conduct peer code reviews.

• Deliver projects with minimal defects.

• Investigate new libraries, techniques, and innovative ideas.

• Elevate the organization's reputation by taking ownership of requests and seeking opportunities to add value.

• Must reside in Brazil.

• 3+ years of experience in JavaScript.

• 2+ years of experience with NextJS.

• Proficient in REST APIs development and deployment.

• Familiar with JSON modeling and implementation.

• Experience in querying and modeling data using a relational database.

• Knowledge of package managers such as npm or pip.

• Proficient in using Git for version control.

• Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

• Commitment to enhancing project test coverage.

• AWS Certifications or a willingness to obtain certification is preferred.

• Interest in Generative AI technologies is a plus.

• 2+ years of experience with React is an advantage.
