Software Engineer – Marketing

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland, +1 more state.

📋 Description

• Develop fast and ambitious backend web applications.

• Work closely with the product team to create features that have a substantial impact on the business.

• Identify and resolve bottlenecks to enhance the experience for frontend developers.

• Collaborate with the design team to create elegant and user-friendly UI components.

• Grasp the business context and devise innovative engineering solutions.

• Build and scale a multi-tenant SaaS platform aimed at salon customer engagement and retention.

• Shape a high-scale, distributed system utilizing event-driven architecture and modern cloud technologies.

• Uphold high coding standards, pay attention to detail, and ensure maintainability, reusability, clean code, and unit testing.

• Create automated unit and acceptance tests.

• Engage in code reviews and whiteboarding sessions.

• Mentor and support fellow team members.

• Design and implement solutions collaboratively at the team level.

• Commit to continuous learning, technology evaluation, and enhancement of engineering practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong expertise with at least 3 years of professional experience in object-oriented software design, primarily in Java.

• Solid knowledge and understanding of JavaScript, its core principles, and recent advancements.

• Experience in developing and working with RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with GraphQL is an added advantage.

• Capability to analyze trade-offs in discussions regarding backend technologies.

• Ability to inspire and motivate the team while enhancing quality and productivity.
