Software Engineer, Java, Microservices, AI

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop and evolve microservices in distributed environments.

• Design and implement integrations through APIs and event-driven architectures.

• Participate in the incorporation of Artificial Intelligence capabilities into corporate systems.

• Integrate LLM-based services within microservices ecosystems.

• Collaborate with architects and other technical teams to define scalable and reusable solutions.

• Ensure the quality, observability, and maintainability of applications.

⛳️ Requirements

• Strong experience with Java 17 or higher.

• Knowledge of Spring Boot.

• Experience in microservices development.

• Experience with REST APIs and OpenAPI.

• Familiarity with Kafka.

• Understanding of PostgreSQL.

• Proficiency in Docker.

• Knowledge of Git.

• Familiarity with CI/CD practices.

• Experience in automated testing.

• Knowledge of cloud computing.

• Experience in system integration via APIs.

• Experience consuming APIs from LLM models is a plus.

• Familiarity with prompting and tool/function calling is desirable.

• Experience integrating AI services into enterprise applications is valued.

• Understanding of error management, timeouts, and costs associated with AI services is a plus.

• Knowledge of RAG and AI agents is appreciated.
