Software Engineer Intern, 23 weeks

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, implement, and maintain software solutions.

• Assist in delivering real-time, low-latency features for advanced communication systems.

• Engage with intricate distributed systems within a virtualized cloud framework.

• Complete multiple projects throughout the six-month internship period.

• Gain insights from engineers specializing in distributed computing, real-time DSP/audio processing, virtualization performance, and distributed messaging.

• Assume responsibility for essential features and services provided to users.

• Create applications.

• Enhance coding abilities and utilize issue-tracking and source-control systems.

• Participate in code evaluations, bug tracking, and project management activities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• Strong interest in software development, evidenced by several side projects and potentially engagement in the open source community.

• Eager entrepreneurial mindset and "can do" attitude, demonstrated through a genuine interest in acquiring new technologies.

• Proficiency in coding with languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, PHP, C, or C++.

• Preferred: Familiarity with unit and integration testing methodologies, with the capability to write, debug, and deploy testing frameworks.

• Preferred: Experience in data processing, analytics, business intelligence, and reporting.

• Preferred: Knowledge of tools such as Hadoop, Spark, Python, Scala, etc.

• Must reside in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, or Delhi, India for the duration of the internship.
