Senior/Staff Java Fullstack Developer – Java, Spring Boot, React

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

• Engage in all aspects of project delivery

• Take ownership of code throughout its development, deployment, and maintenance

• Diagnose production issues and develop solutions

• Assist in shaping the online technology roadmap and future technical direction

• Conduct technical interviews for pertinent positions

• Develop high-performance, resilient, and scalable software systems for clients and their users

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 7 years of experience with Java/Kotlin programming language, including the latest versions

• Proficient in Typescript

• Familiarity with React / Next.js

• Experience with web frameworks such as Spring (Boot, Cloud, Data Flow) or Micronaut

• Knowledge of Microservices, Web services, SOA, GraphQL Federation, and REST API

• Experience in API management using Apigee

• Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools, including OpenTelemetry and Dynatrace

• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and test-driven development

• Background with Azure or AWS Cloud, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and GitHub Actions

• Experience with MongoDB and MySQL

• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Jenkins, NexusPro, or similar tools

• Knowledge of agile frameworks and practices including Scrum/Kanban, BDD/TDD, DevOps, Continuous Integration & Delivery, and Pair Programming

• Proficient in applying design patterns

• Fluent in English

• Must be located in Portugal

• Background in e-commerce/retail is a plus
