Software Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications and services.

• Transform business and product requirements into dependable, maintainable solutions.

• Construct backend services and APIs utilizing Java, Groovy, Spring Boot, and OpenJDK.

• Create and integrate REST and GraphQL APIs.

• Work with MySQL and PostgreSQL to implement application integrations and data flows.

• Collaborate with engineering, DevSecOps, infrastructure, and product teams to deliver software effectively.

• Diagnose and resolve application issues across development, testing, and production environments.

• Write clean, well-tested code and engage in code reviews and technical discussions.

• Contribute to CI/CD processes, automated testing, cloud adoption, and application modernization.

• Employ secure coding practices and support performance, scalability, and maintainability.

• Document technical solutions and development workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Applicants MUST BE US Citizens and must be able to obtain Public Trust clearance.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in software development.

• Strong practical experience with Java, Groovy, Spring Boot, and OpenJDK.

• Proficiency with REST and GraphQL APIs, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.

• Solid understanding of software development principles, microservices, and distributed systems.

• Familiarity with version control, testing, debugging, code reviews, and CI/CD methodologies.

• Experience with AWS or Azure platforms.

• Knowledge of DevSecOps, secure coding, and contemporary software delivery practices.

• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration abilities.
