Software Engineer III – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Develop and manage SDKs, applications, and libraries utilized by software on Android POS devices.

• Contribute to the implementation of the platform architecture, adhering to established standards while ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

• Assist in enhancing CI/CD processes, automated testing, and platform monitoring.

• Collaborate with the team, engaging in technical discussions and providing support to developers utilizing the platform.

• Write high-quality code and participate in code reviews, adhering to best practices such as SOLID principles and Clean Architecture.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in native Android development using Kotlin or Java (mandatory).

• Experience in consuming and maintaining SDKs, libraries, or platform modules.

• Understanding of software architectures (MVVM, MVI, Clean Architecture) and SOLID design principles.

• Familiarity with dependency management (Gradle) and project modularization.

• Knowledge of background Android services, including WorkManager, ForegroundService, and BroadcastReceiver.

• Experience with version control systems (Git) and an understanding of CI/CD processes.

• Practical experience in unit testing.

• Experience with KMP (Kotlin Multiplatform) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with connectivity and network protocols or libraries such as OkHttpClient, UrlConnection, and Ktor is a plus.

• Experience with Coroutines/Flows and Jetpack Compose is beneficial.

• Background in developing solutions for payment terminals (POS) or embedded systems is a plus.

• Familiarity with Artificial Intelligence (LLMs) or Prompt Engineering is a plus.

• Ability to create and analyze dashboards in Grafana, GCP, and Looker Studio is an advantage.

• Understanding of security and cryptography in Android environments is beneficial.

• Familiarity with AOSP or firmware customization is a plus.
