This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Estimate and complete development tasks, which include coding, gathering requirements, and conducting analysis.
• Support scope, scheduling, and delivery requirements effectively.
• Engage with stakeholders and lead enhancements in engineering processes and practices.
• Enhance technical and communication skills while mentoring junior developers.
• Evaluate and diagnose issues within owned systems, prioritizing problem areas accordingly.
• Participate in on-call rotations when necessary.
• Present and document work for both internal and external audiences.
• Engage in planning sessions to build a comprehensive understanding of major architectures and design patterns.
• Assist in recruiting by evaluating homework assignments and potentially participating in interviews.
• Develop and maintain Drupal websites and applications hosted on Acquia.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Write clean, efficient, and testable code.
• Troubleshoot and debug various issues.
• Take part in code reviews, offering constructive feedback.
• Document successful solutions and provide usage instructions.
• Over 5 years of experience in program engineering (C#, JAVA/J2EE, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience in Drupal development.
• Strong expertise in both front-end and back-end technologies.
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
• Familiar with Apache configurations.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Progressive experience with relevant technologies and an understanding of how work impacts business objectives.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must successfully complete and maintain the required federal Public Trust background investigation and suitability determination.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Relevant years of experience may substitute for educational requirements.
• Preferred: experience in developing and maintaining Drupal websites and applications hosted on Acquia.
• Preferred: ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Preferred: capability to write clean, efficient, and testable code.
• Preferred: experience in troubleshooting and debugging.
• Preferred: knowledge of current industry trends and technologies.
• Preferred: experience with code reviews.
• Preferred: ability to document successful solutions and provide usage instructions.
