Software Engineer III, Frontend - Account Experience

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal, +4 more countries.

📋 Description

• Take full ownership of frontend projects from inception to production, covering payment interfaces, checkout components, and tools for merchants.

• Drive frontend architectural choices, engage in design discussions, and create Requests for Comments (RFCs) and Architecture Decision Records (ADRs).

• Develop composable, efficient, and flexible user interfaces.

• Track production performance through metrics and dashboards, ensuring accountability for problem resolution.

• Uphold a high standard of quality and address any code quality issues.

• Participate in incident response, guide the resolution of issues, and keep all stakeholders updated.

• Disseminate knowledge and enhance the skill level and confidence of fellow engineers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in frontend engineering, with a history of independently delivering production-quality work throughout the entire lifecycle.

• In-depth knowledge of TypeScript.

• Familiarity with web components is preferred.

• Capability to define project scopes, design architecture, and execute tasks independently.

• Strong grasp of creating accessible, efficient, and maintainable user interfaces at scale.

• Ability to contribute effectively to architectural discussions and clearly communicate trade-offs.

• Produces clean, thoroughly tested, high-quality code.

• Understands the user and business context that informs the work.

• Excellent and straightforward communication skills, particularly in asynchronous settings.
