Software Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Define and enhance software architectures and technical solutions, taking into account security, scalability, performance, and quality.

• Act as a technical authority, aiding teams in decision-making and addressing complex challenges.

• Design and assist in the development of distributed systems, web applications, and integrations.

• Collaborate with development and architecture using Java and technologies that align with the solutions.

• Utilize Kubernetes and Docker, facilitating the definition, configuration, and upkeep of containerized environments.

• Employ Python for automation, scripting, and DevOps-related tasks.

• Implement DevOps/DevSecOps practices and tools, CI/CD, security, and code quality measures.

• Engage with Linux and Windows environments and operating systems.

• Aid in the configuration and deployment of applications in cloud environments.

• Research, implement, document, and advocate for architectural patterns, technical decisions, and software development best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Substantial experience in software development within corporate settings, working with highly complex solutions.

• Experience serving as a technical authority on software projects, engaging in architectural decisions, standards definition, and technical guidance.

• Experience in defining and evolving software architectures.

• Strong proficiency in Java.

• Practical experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized environments.

• Familiarity with Python applied to automation and DevOps-related activities.

• Experience with DevOps/DevSecOps and CI/CD pipelines.

• Knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Understanding of web system architecture, APIs, protocols, and integration standards.

• Experience with secure development practices, TDD, and code quality analysis tools.

• Familiarity with authentication and authorization protocols and mechanisms.

• Experience with cloud computing and distributed systems.

• Technical certifications related to Java, Kubernetes, Cloud, DevOps, DevSecOps, or Software Architecture are advantageous.

• Knowledge of JavaScript is a plus.

• Experience administering internal development platforms, source code repositories, and management, quality, and security tools is beneficial.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 platform is a plus.

• Experience with or knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning tools and platforms is a plus.
