Software Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +12 more states.

📋 Description

• Create, develop, and implement frontend and backend services that prioritize high availability, low latency, and scalability.

• Design, construct, and configure tailored Salesforce solutions utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, and declarative tools.

• Lead and support efforts in software system and application design, development, documentation, testing, and debugging.

• Detect and rectify complex defects using browser developer tools, APM and logging platforms, and Salesforce debug logs.

• Advocate for engineering best practices, design standards, and procedural guidelines.

• Write, test, commit, review, deploy, and document code.

• Maintain and support current products while incorporating features requested by customers.

• Adapt to evolving business landscapes and requirements.

• Collaborate effectively with stakeholders, product owners, quality assurance, and other teams within an agile framework.

• Engage in Agile/Scrum activities.

• Offer feedback, guidance, and mentorship through pair programming, collaboration, communication, and code reviews.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering from an accredited institution, or equivalent professional experience, or successful completion of a development boot camp.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in software development.

• Advanced proficiency in at least one high-level programming language (e.g., Apex, Java, NodeJS, Python).

• Experience with development on the Salesforce platform, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components (LWC).

• Knowledge of Salesforce integrations, including REST/SOAP APIs and Platform Events.

• Comprehensive understanding of CI/CD concepts and practical experience in their application.

• Strong knowledge and understanding of system design, data structures, and algorithms.

• Proficiency in SQL and relational database principles.

• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC).

• General familiarity with web development concepts.

• Adhere to and advocate for Agile methodologies and principles.

• Capability to develop intricate software in Apex and other programming languages.

• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.

• Willingness to mentor and foster the development of fellow engineers.

• Ability to deliver constructive feedback and guidance during code reviews.

• Working knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, especially in AWS environments.

• Familiarity with JavaScript frameworks.
