Software Engineer II – React Native

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality mobile applications utilizing React Native and TypeScript.

• Take ownership of the complete delivery process for assigned Krak features, from technical design to release and post-launch iterations.

• Create maintainable, high-performance, and resilient screens and components by leveraging established architecture and design patterns.

• Write clean, well-tested code and engage actively in code reviews.

• Participate in technical design discussions, presenting proposals and evaluating trade-offs.

• Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and Rust backend engineers.

• Enhance code quality, shared components, and tools across the Krak mobile codebase.

• Develop and scale core Krak experiences for users globally.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in software development, focusing on web or mobile applications.

• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Practical experience in building applications with React Native.

• Proven experience in integrating and consuming APIs, with an emphasis on security and performance in mobile environments.

• Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks.

• Experience with contemporary front-end build pipelines and tools.

• Deep understanding of UI/UX best practices.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
