This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Decompose larger projects into manageable tasks and deliver them across various phases.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure deadlines are met.
• Engage in product ideation alongside product management, design, and analytics teams.
• Communicate technical limitations and collaborate on decision-making, factoring in risks and trade-offs.
• Develop and track metrics for team-created artifacts.
• Address operational challenges and assist with ongoing maintenance and on-call responsibilities.
• Take part in growth and development initiatives, including conducting interviews.
• Design and enhance high-traffic consumer web applications.
• Contribute to experimentation, instrumentation, marketing integrations, attribution, and measurement efforts.
• Collaborate with senior engineers, Product, Design, Marketing, Analytics, and Data Engineering teams.
• Ensure that measurement and privacy considerations are integrated throughout the development process.
• A minimum of 1.5 years of experience in a software engineering role.
• Proven experience in delivering web applications using declarative UI frameworks such as React or Vue.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript programming.
• Capability to transform simple problems or business scenarios into solutions that involve multiple software components.
• Ability to produce clear, well-tested, and extensible code.
• Comfort in navigating a large and complex codebase.
• Experience in debugging code written by others.
• Background in providing constructive feedback through code reviews.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
• Equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
