Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement software solutions tailored to business requirements for Automated Tank Gauge and associated platforms.

• Apply knowledge of contemporary technology stacks and frameworks, identifying optimal areas for their application.

• Assist the team in becoming proficient with new technologies.

• Leverage Agile methodology experience to enhance the effectiveness of Agile teams.

• Collaborate with colleagues, electrical and mechanical development teams, quality assurance, and other stakeholders.

• Provide mentorship to junior engineers on design principles and coding best practices.

• Share technical knowledge regarding emerging technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.

• 3-5 years of experience in software development using object-oriented programming languages.

• Experience with C++ or Java is preferred.

• Previous project leadership experience is advantageous.

• Familiarity with continuous integration and automated testing technologies is beneficial.

• Experience with REST APIs and JSON is advantageous.

• Knowledge of AWS or Azure and their associated services is beneficial.
