Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and implement innovative software features and applications.

• Convert business requirements into effective functional code.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineering teams.

• Engage in code reviews and adhere to engineering best practices.

• Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing software systems.

• Ensure the performance, reliability, and security of software solutions.

• Mentor junior engineers and offer technical direction.

• Enhance engineering processes, including testing, monitoring, and automated workflows.

• Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and apply them to tackle complex problems.

• Contribute to every stage of the software development lifecycle, from design and development to testing and deployment.

• Proficient in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and databases.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Familiarity with microservices architecture.

• Knowledge of all phases of the software development lifecycle.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies and involvement in Scrum ceremonies.

• Typically a few years of professional software development experience.

• Often holds a bachelor's degree in a related discipline.

• Ability to work autonomously with general supervision.

• Capacity to take ownership of project deliverables.

• Competence in accurately estimating task complexity.
