Senior Node.js Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain Tether's P2P infrastructure

• Enhance the Holepunch ecosystem

• Collaborate with a comprehensive, modular codebase that includes over 1,500 publicly available npm modules

• Create production-level Node.js applications

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in Node.js development for production-level applications

• Strong ability to write modular, maintainable code

• Experience in developing and managing reusable npm modules

• Solid expertise in testing and debugging

• Profound interest or experience in P2P technologies or distributed systems

• Comfortable working within a remote, globally distributed team

• Excellent communication skills

• Preferred: Experience with native Node.js extensions (C/C++), or binding JavaScript to lower-level code

• Preferred: Proven ability to optimize network protocols or systems, focusing on latency and throughput

• Preferred: Familiarity with advanced networking concepts

• Preferred: Previous contributions to open-source software projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technology
