Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain frontend applications, backend services, data pipelines, and AI systems.

• Construct systems that support models, specialized reasoning and resolution agents, as well as human-in-the-loop AI features.

• Conduct A/B testing and launch production features linked to tangible business results.

• Collaborate with product managers and operators to transform manual workflows into automated, AI-powered processes.

• Work alongside AI and ML engineers to create AI-native systems that integrate deterministic logic, conventional ML models, and LLMs.

• Develop and implement secure, compliant, and scalable systems.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in building and managing production systems.

• Proven track record of owning features or services throughout their lifecycle in production.

• Capability to independently lead projects from the design phase through deployment and iteration.

• Experience in direct communication with users and designing solutions in collaboration with product teams.

• Familiarity with scaling production systems, including troubleshooting performance, reliability, and data accuracy issues.

• A keen interest in applied AI and a desire to enhance expertise in the field.

• Dedication to writing clean code, ensuring reliability, and maintaining production readiness.

• Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
