Full-Stack Engineer – Catalog

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Revamp and expand a vital product catalog platform for the business.

• Design, develop, and implement catalog features from start to finish.

• Create APIs, business logic, data models, and React-based user interface components.

• Engage in initiatives aimed at modernizing the platform.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools for coding and automating tests.

• Write and uphold automated testing frameworks.

• Work collaboratively with Product and Design teams.

• Contribute to backend services, frontend applications, APIs, and relational database management.

• Utilize AI tools in specific software development processes and evaluate their effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• MUST BE LOCATED IN MEXICO.

• 7 to 10+ years of relevant experience.

• Over 7 years of experience in software engineering.

• Proficient in English.

• Practical experience with React.

• Backend expertise in C#/.NET, Go, Python, or Java.

• Familiarity with React or a contemporary frontend framework.

• Knowledge of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

• Experience with MS SQL Server or PostgreSQL.

• Background in CI/CD and automated testing processes.

• Familiar with AI-assisted development tools, including daily use of production code shipping tools like Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor.

• Experience utilizing AI in coding, testing, code review, and documentation tasks.

• Proven ability to validate or correct AI-generated outputs.

• Understanding of the limitations of AI tools and strategies to mitigate them.

• Strong grasp of software design principles.

• Experience in platform migration and incremental migration strategies.

• Familiarity with .NET or SQL Server and modern technology stacks like Python, Go, or PostgreSQL.

• Full-stack comprehension and capability to contribute across all layers of the technology stack.

• Experience with e-commerce platforms, product catalogs, or high-traffic consumer applications.

• History of working in distributed teams across the US, China, and Latin America.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• A robust ownership mentality and accountability for delivery.
