This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Design, develop, deploy, and manage consumer applications, infrastructure, and data-driven products and services that support Happy Money’s lending operations.
• Create products that deliver an outstanding customer experience for our members.
• Take ownership of the design, testing, development, and rollout of new and existing features.
• Engage in all stages of the software development life cycle.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, business stakeholders, and engineers to determine effective solutions.
• Enhance engineering efficiency using AI-driven coding agents and autonomous workflows.
• Implement automated frontend testing for essential components and user processes.
• Independently design solutions for complex challenges.
• Architect and develop maintainable, scalable, fault-tolerant, and efficient systems.
• Maintain high standards of code quality and product excellence.
• Focus on addressing technical debt and tooling to minimize operational burdens.
• Provide mentorship to frontend engineers within the Engineering team.
• Proactively take the initiative, tackle challenges, and advance projects.
• Over 5 years of experience in building production-level React applications.
• Extensive knowledge of React, hooks, and component architecture at scale.
• Hands-on experience with ReactJS, CSS, GraphQL, JavaScript, NodeJS, Python, and Java.
• Quick to learn new programming languages and technologies.
• Experience in developing frontend user interfaces and UI-based SDKs for other developers.
• Strong advocate for automated testing.
• Ability to define, scale, and prioritize tasks to deliver project milestones effectively.
• Exceptional written and oral communication abilities.
• Results-driven with the capability to resolve issues independently and assist others.
• Familiarity with AWS technologies such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and API Gateway.
• Practical experience in creating scalable and highly available consumer applications.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
