Senior Technical Lead – App Development

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Act as the Java Full Stack Lead / Technical Lead / Architect

• Design and maintain enterprise-level J2EE-based web applications

• Integrate various backend systems in the role of a Java backend developer

• Collaborate closely with clients, architects, and frontend developers to establish backend integrations

• Define implementation specifics and execute integration solutions

• Operate within both onshore and offshore development management frameworks

• Engage in continuous integration and continuous development practices

• Deploy applications to enterprise application servers

• Offer recommendations for sizing and scalability

• Troubleshoot connectivity and deployment challenges

• Assist in development utilizing Agile and Waterfall methodologies

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 8+ years of development experience in Java Web/Enterprise projects

• Practical experience in enterprise-level J2EE web application development and support

• Proficiency in Spring, Spring Boot, and cloud technologies

• Familiarity with Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) environment

• Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) processes

• Java backend development expertise in integrating various backend systems

• Experience with both onshore and offshore development management methodologies

• Strong communication skills

• Background in Agile and Waterfall project development methodologies

• Understanding of design patterns

• Familiarity with Java EE and Maven

• Knowledge of application servers such as Jetty, Tomcat, JBoss, and WebLogic

• Experience with Spring, Java frameworks, and open-source libraries

• Familiarity with Spring Security and SSO solutions

• Experience in REST and SOAP web services

• Proficient with Oracle, MySQL, and DB2 database applications, SQL, JDBC, and ORM tools

• Ability to provide sizing and scalability recommendations and troubleshoot connectivity and deployment issues

• Experience deploying applications to servers in enterprise environments

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
