Software Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Develop and maintain both new and existing software products throughout the entire lifecycle, encompassing research, design, implementation, testing, training, and ongoing support.

• Analyze technical specifications and adhere to established software designs for development, debugging, documentation, and testing purposes.

• Modify, create, and implement software programming applications as required.

• Provide support and maintenance for current software applications.

• Engage in testing activities to ensure the quality and performance of software products.

• Conduct maintenance, feature development, quality assurance, documentation, and infrastructure or performance-related tasks across the application stack.

• Contribute to the establishment and enforcement of development best practices and technical standards.

• Collaborate with senior engineers, product managers, system architects, and technical support teams.

• Fulfill additional requests, projects, and tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.

• 2 to 4 years of professional experience in software development.

• Proficiency in developing applications using Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Spring Boot, Angular, and jQuery.

• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL or MariaDB.

• Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities with a proven ability to take ownership and exercise sound judgment.

• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile or Scrum methodologies.

• Experience utilizing Jira and Confluence or similar development collaboration tools.

• Background in healthcare, healthcare technology, or software solutions that support healthcare organizations.
