This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and expand Go services that facilitate agent quoting, configuration, and application-submission tools prior to checkout.
• Collaborate closely with the App and Checkout teams.
• Participate in architectural discussions and help set the direction for projects.
• Address partner-specific edge cases as both partners and volume increase.
• Create unit and integration tests for the code that is deployed.
• Conduct peer reviews of colleagues’ code.
• Integrate AI coding tools as a standard component of daily operations.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer through collaborative work and thorough documentation.
• Adhere to and enhance automation and CI/CD practices within the team.
• Diagnose and resolve issues in production for delivered features.
• Articulate technical trade-offs to engineers, PMs, and non-technical stakeholders.
• Over 3 years of professional experience in backend software development.
• Proven expertise in Go; capable of managing services from inception to completion.
• Familiarity with distributed systems or microservices architecture.
• Experience in designing APIs (REST, gRPC, OpenAPI, Protocol Buffers).
• Proficient in using Docker for local development purposes.
• CI/CD practiced as a standard approach.
• Demonstrated regular use of AI tools such as Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or ChatGPT in real engineering tasks.
• Comfortable engaging in architectural discussions and providing mentorship.
• Proficient in idiomatic, maintainable Go development, focusing on concurrency, error handling, and package structure.
• Experience in system design and architecture.
• Background in API design.
• Knowledge of unit and integration testing.
• Experience in cross-team collaboration and production debugging.
