This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop backend functionalities for Stytch’s identity platform utilizing Twilio.

• Implement new API interfaces and core authentication processes, covering both agentic and non-human identity scenarios.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering leadership to establish direction and convert customer requirements into product features.

• Deliver impactful features in the roadmap.

• Work together with teams from Twilio and Stytch on architecture and platform integration.

• Create design documents and influence significant technical decisions.

• Review code and take ownership of deployed systems.

• Deconstruct complex challenges, make sensible trade-offs, and design experiences for developers.

• Enhance production quality and resilience through observability, incident management, and remediation processes.

• Mentor and assist engineers through collaboration, feedback, and knowledge sharing.


⛳️ Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in designing, constructing, and managing high-scale, mission-critical cloud-based production systems.

• Proficiency with a production-level codebase in a contemporary programming language.

• Adherence to best coding practices and the ability to produce high-quality code.

• Significant experience in RESTful API design and development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.

• Willingness to work non-standard on-call rotations during weekends and holidays.

• Familiarity with Go, TypeScript, and DynamoDB.

• Experience in developing developer tools or SDKs.

• Proven track record of building and managing products used by paying customers.

• Enthusiasm for hands-on development and witnessing projects come to fruition.
