Software Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Engage in the complete software application and business logic development lifecycle.

• Take part in Agile/Scrum meetings.

• Contribute to project estimation and planning.

• Perform code reviews and produce code and tests.

• Participate in research and development activities related to generative AI.

• Support deployment and testing/validation in the QA environment.

• Aid in deployment, validation, troubleshooting, and support in production.

• Assist with application monitoring and process automation.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in information technology or a related field is required.

• At least one year of hands-on experience in software development is preferred.

• Familiarity with generative AI technology is preferred.

• Practical experience with the Microsoft Azure platform (DevOps, CI/CD, Azure monitoring, etc.) is preferred.

• Solid understanding of basic programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.

• Knowledge of databases and operating systems, with working knowledge of MS SQL.

• Familiarity with RESTful APIs.

• Experience with database programming (e.g., SQL Server queries, triggers, stored procedures).

• Understanding of user interface (UI) programming (e.g., JavaScript, HTML, Ajax, CSS).

• Capability to adhere to best practices in writing well-structured, maintainable code in C# and SQL.

• Willingness and ability to quickly learn new technologies.

• Exposure to CSS, PowerShell, and JavaScript.

• Knowledge of machine learning and generative AI concepts and principles.

• Ability to decompose complex problems into manageable parts.

• Experience with GitHub or another version control system, along with familiarity with CI/CD concepts.

• Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) concepts and experience in application KPI tracking is a plus.

• Understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.

• Ability to follow instructions and collaborate effectively in a team environment.

• Strong communication skills in English.
