Software Engineer I

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and implement scalable and maintainable software applications utilizing Spring Boot, Java, and cloud technologies.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to create architectures that fulfill business requirements.

• Contribute to the technical direction of the team and the product.

• Develop, test, and uphold essential foundational services.

• Enhance team efficiency and overall effectiveness.

• Engage in code reviews and assess peers’ pull requests.

• Take part in Agile methodologies including sprint planning, daily standups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.

• Define and prioritize tasks for the team.

• Investigate and implement emerging technologies and industry best practices.

• Leverage AI tools to facilitate software development.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• 0–1 years of professional experience in software development.

• At least 1 year of internship experience is preferred.

• Strong grasp of object-oriented programming principles, data structures, and algorithms.

• Excellent problem-solving abilities and capacity to enhance performance and scalability.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Experience with Spring, version control systems, and relational databases is advantageous.

• Keen interest or direct experience in AI-centric development, including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, or local AI tools/frameworks.

• Practical experience with Python and frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask is preferred.
