Software Engineer – Generalist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Deliver fully functional, production-ready features from start to finish, covering backend APIs, frontend UI, database schemas, and testing.

• Develop and enhance internal developer tools powered by AI, such as automated bug triage, code generation assistants, and agentic workflows.

• Integrate LLM APIs and implement agentic patterns like tool usage, multi-step reasoning, and prompt pipelines into product features and internal systems.

• Take ownership of and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and developer infrastructure.

• Engage in code reviews and participate in architecture discussions.

• Contribute to engineering standards within a small, collaborative team.

• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues across the entire stack, including GCP services and containerized workloads.

• Collaborate closely with the core engineering team during sprints, standups, and via Slack channels.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–6 years of experience in professional software engineering with a focus on delivering production software.

• Strong expertise in TypeScript/Node.js and/or Python.

• Comfortable working on both backend and frontend development.

• Familiarity with React and modern frontend frameworks; Next.js is preferred.

• Solid understanding of relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL.

• Knowledge of REST or GraphQL API design principles.

• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and proven delivery of projects utilizing them.

• Proficient with Git workflows, Docker, and containerized environments.

• Excellent communication skills in English; capable of clear writing and effective asynchronous engagement.

• Experience with agentic architectures, tool usage, agent loops, multi-step LLM pipelines, LangGraph, or CrewAI is preferred.

• CI/CD experience, including GitHub Actions, deployment pipelines, environment management, or infrastructure-as-code is preferred.

• Familiarity with GCP services, including Cloud Run, GCS, Pub/Sub, or BigQuery is preferred.

• Background in working with RAG systems, vector search, or embedding pipelines is preferred.

• Experience collaborating with ML or data engineering teams is preferred.

• Previous experience in a remote, asynchronous-first environment with a US-based team is preferred.
